Karnataka have won the Irani Trophy by an innings and 222 runs. It was a complete dominance from Karnataka over Rest of India. They were on top throughout by dismissing Rest of India for 201 on the first Day and then piled on runs in the next two days to score 606 and take a massive 405-run lead. In their second innings, the ROI team just couldn’t match up as they folded up for 183 runs. It was a clean scorecard with Vinay Kumar bagging four wickets and Shreyas Gopal taking a fifer which included a hat-trick.
