Swapnil Patil was dismissed by Kevin O’Brien for two in the 16th match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 between Ireland and UAE at Brisbane. Paul Stirling took the catch as O’Brien took his second wicket. Amjad Ali was out just short of what would have been a skilful half-century. Amjad pulled one from Kevin O’Brien that was caught by Max Sorensen at square leg. Earlier, UAE lost both Andri Raffaelo Berenger and Krishna Karate in quick succession to part-time off-spinner Paul Stirling. Berenger had chipped one from Stirling to skipper William Porterfield, while Karate was caught brilliantly by Kevin O’Brien at slip. Earlier, Ireland won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pace bowler Alex Cusack replaced offspinner Andy McBrine, who bowled well against West Indies. UAE skipper Mohammad Tauqir said he would have batted first anyway. Spinner Nasir Aziz had to make way for pace bowler Manjula Guruge, as both teams made a change apiece.
