Jason Holder’s 4 wicket haul helps West Indies bundle UAE for 175

Minnows UAE were bundled for 175 following an impressive four-wicket haul from skipper, Jason Holder, in their final group stage clash of Pool B, match 41 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at the McLean Park in Napier on Sunday. UAE were off to a worst possible start, losing six quick wickets in 14 overs. The opening five wickets were lost in the mandatory powerplay phase of the opening 10 overs, as they lost Andri Berenger, Krishna Karate, Amjad Ali, Khurram Khan and Shaiman Anwar in the phase for mere seven, duck, five, five and two, respectively in nine overs. However, following this dismissal, it was an unexpected return from the UAE batsmen in the form of Amjad Javed and Nasir Aziz, who put up an impressive 107-run stand for the seventh wicket, followed by their respective maiden half-centuries. With just 14 added to the total, it was Mohammad Naveed and Aziz, who fell for 14 and 60, respectively to Russell and Marlon Samuels.
