The father of Jemimah Rodrigues, Ivan Rodrigues, has given a clarification related to the allegations of wrong activities linked to prayer meetings. He said that all activities were done with the full knowledge and consent of the club’s office bearers.
Recent reports have come out claiming that Ivan Rodrigues held unlawful religious activities in the club premises, which has led to criticism and objections coming in from a lot of club members.
Officers from Khar Gymkhana gave confirmation about Ivan Rodrigues violating the club rules as he conducted religious practices in the premise. One official revealed that Ivan had organized 35 events in the club’s presidential hall in the span of a year and a half.
Responding to all the ongoing mess and various reports, Ivan provided some clarification. He state that the facilities at the Khar Gymkhana were used by them for prayer meetings on various occasions.
He also stated that these meetings were held with the knowledge of the officials, and were open for anyone to attend.
