Josh Hazlewood records career-best figures to skittle West Indies out for 220 on Day 3 of 2nd Test at Jamaica

Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood recorded his career-best figures of 5 for 38, that helped skittle West Indies out for a score of 220 in their first innings on the third day of the second and final Test at Kingston on Saturday. Live Updates: West Indies vs Australia, Day3, 2nd Test at Jamaica

This was the second time that Hazlewood recorded a five-wicket haul in his Test career, the previous occasion being his haul of 5 for 68 against India at Brisbane in the 2014-15 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Hazlewood led much of the destruction of West Indian batting order on the second day, taking the wickets of Shane Dowrich, Jermaine Blackwood and Denesh Ramdin for the hosts to end the day at 143 for 8. Jason Holder was the only West Indian batsman to put up any resistance whatsoever after resuming from their overnight score on the third day. His flamboyant batting helped West Indies cross the 200-run mark, before Hazlewood cleaned up Kemar Roach and Jerome Taylor in a space of a couple of deliveries to bring the West Indian innings to an end.
