Kenya announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Under-19 World Cup 2018, which will be played in New Zealand in January. Kenya have been placed in Group A alongside defending champions West Indies, hosts New Zealand and heavyweights South Africa.

Coach Jimmy Kamande sounded excited for the start of the marquee tournament.

Cricbuzz quoted him saying, “I am very excited as a coach to take this group to New Zealand. They are massively talented with the potential for even greater things. I’m confident we have picked a combination that will give us the desired results.”

The team currently is training at the Sikh Union grounds in Nairobi, and will board the flight for New Zealand on December 28.
