Kevin Pietersen is all set to meet Andrew Strauss, the newly appointed director of England Cricket Board (ECB) after his emphatic triple hundred for Surrey against Leicestershire in Division Two of the County Championship. Pietersen was axed from England cricket team after the team’s disastrous 5-0 whitewash in the Ashes down-under. ALSO READ: Kevin Pietersen completes triple century during Surrey vs Leicestershire

However, England cricket’s new chief Colin Graves gave Pietersen a hope for a recall, saying Pietersen would have to prove himself in the county circuit to earn a recall. Pietersen responded by ditching his Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 contract with Sunrisers Hyderabad to play for Surrey in the county season.

Pietersen has done his international cricket recall cause a world of good with the triple ton. Sky Sports tweeted that Pietersen was all set to meet England cricket director Strauss and ECB chief executive Tom Harrison, soon after days play where KP ended at an unbeaten 326 off just 373 deliveries.
