Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 46th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) Season 9 on Sunday. The match will be played at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali. Two websites— hotstar.com and Star Sports Online can be used for live streaming the match. The channels which will be telecasting the live broadcast of the match are Sony ESPN, Sony ESPN HD, Sony SIX and Sony SIX HD. KXIP are placed second-last on the points table whereas SRH are comfortably seated at the top, needing just one win to make it to the playoffs stage of the ongoing season of IPL. KXIP haven’t had a season they would have liked. Their top-order with Murali Vijay and Wriddhiman Saha has done the scoring mostly and the middle-order has had a forgettable season with the bat. David Miller and Glenn Maxwell have failed to deliver. The bowlers have done decently too. They will be looking to cause an upset for SRH in the crucial stages of the tournament. Another good bowling effort combined with a strong batting display might do the trick for KXIP today.
SRH on the other hand lost their last match to Delhi Daredevils (DD) but have had a fairy-tale season this time in the IPL. Captain David Warner has lead from the front. Shikhar Dhawan has slowly come back to form and Yuvraj Singh’s return has given them a big boost too. Their bowlers mainly – Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mustafizur Rahman and Ashish Nehra have done exceedingly well up till now. They will be hoping that they can seal a playoff berth soon.
