Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) face off in Match 50 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Chandigarh on Wednesday. Having been shown the exit gate already in the tournament, KXIP will look to gain a consolation win against RCB, against whom they were handed a 138-run defeat. IPL 2015: Schedule with venue details
RCB are the overwhelming favourites going into the game, but they will be wary of what happened in IPL 2012 when they were in a similar position. Back then they needed to win one of their last two matches to qualify, and ended up losing both. KXIP will feel they are close to that one flawless performance they have been aiming for, and that will make them a potentially dangerous side. IPL 2015: Points Table and Team Standings
KXIP will take heart from their performance in their last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), in which David Miller came from behind to nearly pull off a victory for his side. IPL 2015: Complete Coverage
