Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have gotten themselves off to a good start against Kings Xi Punjab (KXIP) in Match 13 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 at Mohali. KKR were set a modest target of 139 and KKR seem to be in a good position to get there. Openers Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa have been in good nick of late and have managed to carry it on in this match as well. Gambhir is the season’s highest run-scorer and he looks in no mood to surrender that meekly. Uthappa too has looked in good touch in this match so far. Uthappa has faced mote deliveries in this innings compared to his partner, but Gambhir does not seem to be bothered by that. KKR still have a lot of good batsmen to follow. The likes of Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Shakib-Al-Hasan and Andre Russell are still to come for KKR and should not find any difficulties in chasing the total down. KXIP are in desperate need of wicket at the moment and none of their bowlers have looked in a position to get any. KKR also brought up their fifty in just 4.4 overs.
