Krunal Pandya scores maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) fifties in Match 47 of the IPL 2016 match against Delhi Daredevils (DD) at Visakapatnam. Krunal, who came at No. 3 at the dismissal of Rohit Sharma was outscoring past Guptill, who missed out on a well deserved half-century. The partnership between Guptill and Krunal is approaching 100. Rohit was dismissed when MI had scored 46 in 6.3 Overs. MI still have a strong batting line-up, with the likes of Ambati Rayudu, Jos Buttler and Kieron Pollard to follow. This is a crucial match for both teams as a place in the top four is on the line. Both teams are tied at 12 points and a win in this match will take one team go to 14, which will be a major step in ensuring that they qualify for the playoffs. Guptill is known for his hard-hitting at the top for New Zealand and MI will hope that he can stay there till the end and take MI to a good score. Earlier, DD had won the toss and elected to bat first. Zaheer Khan and Imran Tahir are back in the team for DD. Guptill’s inclusion has added a major boost for MI. He is n excellent fielder as well and can save some crucial runs for the team. Indian medium pacer Vinay Kumar too finds a place in the playing XI.
