Saad Nasim completed his half-century and Lahore Lions were 100 for 5 at the end of 17.1 overs in the 19th CLT20 match against Perth Scorchers at Bangalore. Nasim, who came in to bat when Lions were reeling at 11 for four, batted with caution and patience and helped  his team avoid being skittled for an embarassing total.

Lahore Lions can still qualify for the semis if they win this game by 47 runs. Umar Akmal has been looking in great touch for Lahore, scoring 40 and 73 in the last two innings he played. 35-year-old Aizaz Cheema too has troubled batsman with his lethal precision so far in this tournament, taking a total of 10 wickets at an average of 15.80 in the five matches he has played so far in the tournament.
