There have been some major changes in the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA), which has seen some struggles with regards to power and the recent one being Amin Pathan group who withdrew its no-confidence motion against Lalit Modi, which makes the former IPL commissioner an undisputed king. This means BCCI has still suspended RCA from hosting any form of international cricket. This could be a major drawback for Pathan group who had once claimed they do not want to work with Modi and on Tuesday, December 15 he said that he was ready to work with him for the sake of cricket. As per reports from cricbuzz.com, Modi went on to mention that he would win the assurance of few BCCI members and if he fails to do so, he will step down. These claims were similar during the elections of RCA as the President in 2014. Just when the Supreme Court judge Gyan Sudha Mishra, the arbitrator, was to hear the plea about no-confidence motion, all the four members Amin Pathan, Shakti Singh, Vivek Vyas and Mohammad Iqbal moved away from the motion and withdrew. The judge further said, “In this case Modi will remain the President.” However a formal announcement will be made on Wednesday, December 16 after hearing all the objections. The secretary from district cricket association said, “All of us sat down and decided that we have to work for cricket. Enough time has been wasted in bickering.” All the 33 members have supported to work together for cricket, as per the sources from RCA. However, the teams within the state have participated in local matches and Ranji Trophy at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. The decision for work together is not just restricted to cricket.
