Opening batting for England Women, Lauren Winfield and Tammy Beaumont both slammed hundreds in the second Women’s ODI against Pakistan Women at New Road, Worcester. England Women had already won the first of the 3-ODI series following a 7-wicket win at Grace Road, thanks to an excellent all-round performance by newly appointed captain Heather Knight. Tammy and Lauren added 235 for the first wicket in 38.3 overs before the former fell for a 116-ball 104 (10 fours, 2 sixes). Two balls later Lauren followed, for a 117-ball 123 (15 fours, 2 sixes), opening bowler Maham Tariq accounting for both wickets.
