South Australia batsman and Leicestershire captain Mark Cosgrove is working hard to get slim. He is sweating at the gym, running and following a diet regime to shed extra kilos. The Australian cricketer is considered too fat for his age and height and sometimes his performance on the field especially fielding gets affected due to this. It needs to be mentioned here that Cosgrove has also played three ODIs for Australia and also scored a fifty in one of these three outings. In a conversation with Daily Telegraph he said, “It is the lightest I have been since playing for Australia in 2006. It was just trying to lead by example at Leicester in the gym and out in the middle. I’ve been doing a lot of bike riding and watching the diet. I feel the best I have in 10 or 11 years. We played some really consistent cricket in the last six weeks while I am hitting the ball really well. It was challenging, you go through some emotions.
