Australia and South Africa begin their search for a win in the four-match Test series in the third Test at Perth on Friday.
Australia need just one win in the next two wins to reclaim their number one spot in Tests while South Africa need to get just two more draws to hold on to their coveted title.
This will be former Australian captain Ricky Ponting‘s final Test at Perth after he announced his retirement recently.
South Africa have decided to play Jacques Kallis after declaring him fit for the game in the last moment while Australia’s Shane Watson comes in to replace Rob Quiney.
The visitors won the toss and have elected to bat first.
