Bangladesh achieved their first victory in Match 8 against Nepal Women by healthy margin of 91 runs. Bangladesh put up a decent total of 133 with opening batters Sanjida Islam and Nigar Sultana being the top-scorers for the side. Captain Rumana remained unbeaten on 17. Bowlers played the crucial role as Nahida Akhter and Fahima Khatun shared 7 wickets to end the Nepal innings by 17 overs. Bangladesh’s all-round performance awarded them their first wicket. Meanwhile, Pakistan Women were thrashed by India Women as they managed to add just 97 runs on board.
