Bangladesh and Zimbabwe clash in the third match of the five-match One-Day International (ODI) series at Dhaka on Wednesday. The hosts are currently leading the series 2-0 and will look to clinch the series at the third encounter.
If Bangladesh can close the series in the upcoming ODI, it will leave them the luxury to experiment in the last couple of matches, although for a team that’s tasted success so sporadically, developing a winning habit is essential and so they must guard against complacency.
Zimbabwe, on the other hand, are overly dependent on Hamilton Masakadza and Brendon Taylor to come good in order for them to even compete, let alone win. Their abject surrender to Bangladesh is also quickly erasing memories of their win over Australia in ODI few months ago.
Squads:
Bangladesh: Mashrafe Mortaza (c), Al-Amin Hossain, Anamul Haque, Arafat Sunny, Imrul Kayes, Jubair Hossain, Mahmudullah, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Rubel Hossain, Sabbir Rahman, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal.
Zimbabwe: Elton Chigumbura (c), Regis Chakabva (wk), Tendai Chatara, Craig Ervine, Tafadzwa Kamungozi, Hamilton Masakadza, Natsai M’shangwe, Richmond Mutumbami, John Nyumbu, Tinashe Panyangara, Vusi Sibanda, Sikandar Raza, Brendan Taylor, Malcolm Waller, Neville Madziva, Timycen Maruma, Solomon Mire, Peter Moor, Tawanda Mupariwa, Brian Vitori.
