Madhya Pradesh after winning the toss elected to bat on a seeming good track. Madhya Pradesh got off to a bad start losing 2 early wickets in just 3 overs. Rajat Patidar top scored with 60 runs making sizeable partnerships with Devendra Bundela(39) and Harpreet Singh(51). Baroda kept bowling in perfect channels to make it hard for MP batsman to score runs. Atith Seth and Swapnil Singh picked up 2 wickets each with Swapnil doing the bulk of the bowling through the day. Yusuf Pathan picked one wicked in his thirteen overs. Baroda will look to take the remaining 3 wickets early in the morning to get the best use of the batting surface.

Dane, who’s playing in place of Naman Ojha, who’s serving the Board President’s XI team against South Africa, displayed good glove-work. Shah could manage only seven runs. Kedar Devdhar and Aditya Waghmode are at the crease now. Baroda has a strong batting line up, with Yusuf Pathan, Ambati Rayudu and Deepak Hooda still to come. The team score could’ve been below 250 had Ishwar Pandey not struck those lusty blows towards the end. His blazing cameo of 16-ball 34 had three sixes in it.
