Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live cricket blog of the match number 20 in the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2016, between India and Nepal. We at CricketCountry will be bringing you the live cricket scores and live cricket updates of the India and Nepal at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. India and Nepal are head to head in this tournament as well as in their group. Both the teams are through quarter finals and this match will be decider of which team will top their group. India have key players like Washington Sundar and Sarfaraz Khan who have always secured half centuries and lead their side to win. When it comes to bowling, Rahul Batham, Avesh Khan and Mahipal Lomror have always excelled in their innings. Though Nepal have also equally bounced back in their innings so far with Nepal skipper Raju Rijul, Sandeep Sunar and Aarif Sheikh are key players in batsmen, while bowlers Dpendra Sing, Prem Tamang and Sandeep Lamichhane look very promising to lead Nepal to consecutive victory. India U19 vs Nepal U19: Live Cricket Score, India U19 175/3 in 18.1 overs | BATTING: Sarfaraz Khan 14(16), Armaan Jaffer 12(13):Sarfaraz finishes off with a six. India win by 7 wickets with 31.5 overs still in hand. The credit of the fast finish goes massively to the fast paced innings played by Rishabh Pant. India U19 vs Nepal U19: Live Cricket Score, India U19 169/3 in 18 overs | BATTING: Sarfaraz Khan 14(16), Armaan Jaffer 12(13): Just a single run from the over and there was a chance of a run out. Sarfaraz kept the strike as he faced five ducks and took a single off the last. Scores are level now.
India U19 vs Nepal U19: Live Cricket Score, India U19 168/1 in 17 overs | BATTING: Sarfaraz Khan 13(13), Armaan Jaffer 12(13): 2 runs to win the match here for India and Sarfaraz keeps strike. Wants to finish it off in style the young fellow and is looking forward for that. Lamichhane managed to bowl some sensible deliveries and has done the best of the bowlers.

India on the verge of getting their victory. Both Tamang and Lamichhane showed their best bowling later in the innings but they are of no use now. The damage has been done.

Sarfaraz Khan and Armaan Jaffer at the crease now. Sarfaraz has been in a terrific form as he has been the hero with the bat for India’s past couple of encounters and can easily take his team to the victory. Goes off the mark with a four.

It was a huge chance but they look reluctant. Kishan reaches his half century with a boundary!

Went for the wrong shot off the wrong delivery as it found its way through bat and pad to hit the leg stump. A wicket maiden from Tamang, a great over looking at the current situation.

But Kishan finds the loop holes in the field set. Gets a couple of boundaries there the Indian skipper.

Credit goes to Pant. The bowlers have no answer to the fearless batting and every ball he is getting his bat onto is going for either a four or a six. Three sixes and a four off the over.

Steps out of his crease and sends it through mid off. Three boundaries in the over. Kishan doing the right thing rotating the strike to the man on fire and giving him maximum chances to play.

Ishan Kishan eager to go off the mark. He hasn’t been able to do much in the tournament so far and would like to score some good runs today. Back to back boundaries for skipper as he first sent the delivery straigt through mid on and then flicks it to fine leg sitting on his knees.

He is known for his aggressive style of play and similar innings were seen before as well. Another boundary as he tries a lofted shot and it goes for a boundary over cover. A single to end it, big overs coming India’s way.

Goes for the slog-sweep in the following but mistimes it and loses balance. That doesn’t change his mindset though as he hits a beautiful boundary and a huge six in long on follows. Pant looking to end things faster as he finishes with another six in the cow corner.

A magnificent shot and that races through midwicket. He is on fire and looks for the bigger shots as the ball drops safe at point. Kishan also eager to go off the mark and the bowler Kushal Bhurtel knows it . Good running and they collect 3 runs. Good start.

Tamang still going for the biggies. 2 bonus runs from Shubham Mavi as he bowls a couple of wides to start the over. Not a good start of a final over. A chance of a run out here as teh ‘keeper throws it to Mavi who is reluctant to take the bails off. Mayank Dagar did really well in his first match of the tournament taking a couple of wickets. India U19 vs Nepal U19: Live Cricket Score, Nepal U19 165/8 in 47 overs | BATTING: Sushil Kandel 3(6), Prem Tamang 28(35): A boundary to start the over. Fielding disasters continue as Shubham Mavi, the fielder at deep square leg, misses another chance produced by Avesh Khan and it goes for a sixer! This was the first six of the innings. Tamang hadn’t really timed it well but gets 6 runs here.

India skipper Ishan Kishan is back in. Runs coming in singles so far but it’s evident from Tamang’s body language that he wants to go for the biggies.

And India gift 4 runs to Nepal as a result of an over through. A serious chance of run out there as Rajbir was out of his crease as Washington Sundar threw the ball collecting it from point but found no one to receive.

The fifer man from last match has so far failed to manage a single wicket. Remained a bit unlucky as the latest appeal looked close.

Rajbir Singh sends the delivery to wide long on and gets much needed four runs. Immitates the shot in the next delivery but of no use though. 9 runs came off tha over which is huge looking at their current state.

Dagar has already taken a couple of wickets so far and has done a great job. Three dot balls to increase pressure on batsmen. 3 runs came of the third delivery due to some miscommunication between fielders in the outfield.

But there goes another wicket. Clever bowling from Sundar and the ‘keeper doe his work stumping Bhurtel out. A single apart from that boundary. Prem Tamang comes in.

Rajbir in the meanwhile utilises a full toss to drive it through the covers and takes a couple. The Sarfaraz Khan over gave 4 runs.

Nepal batsmen don’t look in their usual flare today as they are keeping on doing mistakes. 100 comes up for Nepal. And the Indian skipper has hurt himself. Kishan goes off the field as his head hit the hard outfield here at Dhaka.

The batsmen don’t look interested in big shot as they open the surface of the bat to gently drive it for singles. They are looking to settle down and that is evident.

Just what the India U19 bowlers were looking for. This can prove to be fatal. Mayank Dagar takes an easy catch at deep midwicket and a set Aarif Sheikh is gone. 16-year old Dipendra Singh Airee comes out to bat.

India U19 vs Nepal U19: Live Cricket Score, Nepal U19 92/4 in 32 overs | BATTING: Rajbir Singh 6(34), Aarif Sheikh 26(43): An appeal from Lomror but the umpire is not interested. 2 Runs came from that over. Lomror has been a bit unlucky today as unexpected runs came off his deliveries. The Nepal batsmen are doing well on the other hand with quick and clever singles.

Sheikh picks a gap between the fielders at backward point and using the pace of the ball sends it for four runs. India need a wicket here. Nepal is getting the runs they needed after a long time as Sheikh is playing a sensible game of cricket.

The batsman misses it completely. Lomror desperate to get a wicket here.

Lomror would like to do something like he did in the last match and help taking a few wickets. Great work in the outfield so far and great stop by the fielders. Only 2 from the over.

Mayank Dagar took his second wicket as a set Sandeep Sunar departed. He was there for a long time and could build up a good partnership but Dagar removed the danger-man. Aarif Sheikh has so far played nice shots and can do it for Nepal if he gets support from the other end.

He has just come out to bat but has already picked a perfect delivery to send it for a boundary at square leg. Mahipal Lomror bagged a fifer in the last match and has been a consistent performer for India. If he manages to scalp a wicket here, Nepal will be under immense pressure.

A few classic shots from Sunar and it reduces the pressure a bit for his side. Runs were not coming and these boundaries surely count as positives for Nepal. India have a long batting line up and Nepal need to post a good total to call it safe.

Nepal won their first and second match with margin of 32 runs and 8 wickets, while India have won with huge margins with 120 and 79 runs, which pretty much is equal and balanced out. With the way Nepal has been heading and receiving reviews India or Nepal can take away the trophy this tournament.
