Afghanistan have pulled off their second win. They are now firmly in with a chance at qualification. Asghar Sthanikzai and Samiullah Shenwari ensure that Afghanistan win by 8 wickets. Meanwhile, Nepal have won as well with Paras Khadka remaining unbeaten on 21. They win in the final over by 6 wickets.


Afghanistan are smashing the daylights out of UAE. Mohammad Shahzad is out for a 37-ball 74, but one feels he has done enough to ensure an Afghanistan win. Asghar Sthanikzai and Samiullah Shenwari are the batsmen. Just 24 needed to win.

Meanwhile, Nepal are only 50 runs away from a win. They have 48 balls and 9 wickets in hand. Anil Mandal is batting on 27, while Gyanendra Malla is on 36.


Afghanistan are 101 for two in 11 overs, and need another 64 runs to win in 9 overs. On the other hand, Nepal are 37 for 1 in 8 overs, chasing 122. They need 85 runs from 12 overs.


Afghanistan have made a very strong start to their chase. They have reached 36 for no loss in overs, and need another 128 runs to win from remaining 17 overs.


UAE have set a 165-run target against Afghanistan, while Nepal needs 122 runs to get the better of USA. Stay tuned for the further updates.

Scotland started the tournament beating United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 9 wickets and then Afghanistan beat Netherlands by 32 runs to start their tournament on the best possible note. Remember Netherlands had lost the warm-up game too after beating Nepal 3-1 in Twenty20 International (T20I) series.
