Good evening! Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of the Final of Masters Champions League (MCL) 2016 where Leo Lions will take on Gemini Arabians at Dubai. While the Arabians were undefeated in the group stages, Lions went on to lose two matches out of their five fixtures. These two sides have met once in the tournament during the group stages and it were Arabians who eventually finished on the winning side. Arabians surely will have this result in mind, while Lions will try and not keep that match off their mind when they walk in for the grand finale.

Arabians are boosted by the likes of Virender Sehwag, who also is their skipper, Chanderpaul, Brad Hodge, Murali Muralitharan and recently retired Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara. On the other hand, Lions, led by Brian Lara, have veterans like Botha, Franklin, Gibbs and Styris.

Overall, it has been a great inaugural edition of the T20 league which has been designed only for the retired cricketers. The T20 league which began on January 28 gave an opportunity to the cricket fans across the globe to relive the memories of their cricketing heroes, just like the days when the legends represented their respective countries on the international level.
