LIVE CRICKET SCORE: Railways 22/0, 217 | Mumbai 331 | Overs 10 | BATTING: Saurabh 12(29), A R B Singh 6(32): At stumps of Day 2, Mumbai were bowled out for 331, thereby taking a first innings lead of 114 runs. Karn Sharma’s seven-wicket haul helped UP restrict 40-times champions to 331. Railways have begun their next innings quite slow, just 22 runs on board with ten overs gone in the day.

Herwadkar scored 145 before falling to Karn Sharma and Patil remains unbeaten on 82. Patil also formed a significant partnership with Harmeet Singh who scored 20 before being run out. That was the final wicket to fall in the day with Vishal Dabholkar batting out 12 balls to ensure the Mumbai innings went into Day Three. Mumbai are leading Railways by 113 runs with one wicket in hand.

Railways were in the driver’s seat at one stage but lost the initiative. Their aim will be to get rid of that final wicket as soon as possible and then make a better effort with the bat or Mumbai will most certainly get another outright win under their belt. Karn was the star for Railways with the ball taking six wickets for 90 runs. He’ll be eyeing the seventh keenly. For Mumbai, they already have a significant lead on a low-scoring pitch. For them the key is to do well with the ball.
