Good morning and welcome to CricketCountry‘s live coverage of Day Four of the Irani Trophy 2015-16 between Mumbai and Rest of India. Mumbai were only two for the loss of one wicket at stumps yesterday. It was after they had decided not to enforce the follow-on. They had bowled out Rest of India for 306 in their first innings. Rest of India fell short by 297 runs to equalise Mumbai’s first innings total of 603.  Day Four is expected to be very exciting and the match may fold up today itself. However, if Rest of India bowl well and come up with an even better batting performance in the second innings, a draw or the possibility of even them winning the match cannot be ruled out, though the probability of this happening is quite less. LIVE CRICKET SCORE & UPDATES, Mumbai 603 & 21/2 | Overs 6.1| Rest of India 306 | BATSMEN: Jay Gokul Bista 19(17), Suryakumar Yadav 1(13): Rest of India draw second blood. Jaydev Unadkat takes the key wicket of in-form and dangerous batsman Shreyas Iyer. It was a full length ball and Shreyas targeted mid-wicket but he is not able to keep the ball grounded. Srikar Bharat makes no mistake. Mumbai lead by 318 runs. OUT! Shreyas Iyer c Srikar Bharat b Jaydev Unadkat 0(4)

Rest of India which had started the third day on 36 for 1, reached 306 with the help of Karun Nair’s fighting 94-run knock in the middle-order. He batted along with the tail and was well supported by Jaydev Unadkat, who contributed with 48 runs and was the second highest run scorer for them. Jayant Yadav had scored 46 coming one-down. The only wicket that fell for Mumbai in their second innings was of Akhil Herwadkar. The task before Rest of India’s bowlers is very tough. They are up against some of the finest batsmen, some of whom are even banging on the door of Indian team’s selection committee. Jay Gokul Bista, Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Aditya Tare and Siddhesh Lad are looking in good nick and therefore Rest of India have to bowl very well to stop Mumbai’s batting in their second innings.
