Netherlands take on a hapless Zimbabwe side in the seventh match of the ICC World T20 2014 at Sylhet Stadium on Wednesday.
In their first match, Tom Cooper’s all-round show helped Netherlands beat United Arab Emirates (UAE) by six wickets on Monday. Cooper, who claimed two wickets in the first innings, scored a crucial 34 not out off 26 balls to help his side win. After bowling out UAE for 151, the Netherlands achieved the target in 18.5 overs with six wickets in hand.
On the other hand, Paul Stirling‘s half-century and his 80-run partnership with William Porterfield helped Ireland trump Zimbabwe by three wickets in the ICC World T20 2014 first round Group B match at the same venue
Chasing 164 to win, Ireland scored 164 for seven in 20 overs, but not without some last moment hiccups. Ireland, needing four runs off the final over, lost two wickets and scored the winning runs only on the last ball of the innings.
