Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live blog of the second tour match that England are playing before their Test series against Pakistan. The England XI will once again be taking on the Pakistan A side at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah, and the tourists will be hoping that they get good practice of playing as well as the conditions in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Just like the first tour match between England XI and Pakistan A, this will be a two-day match intended to give the touring party good workout before the start of their three-match Test series in the UAE against Pakistan. LIVE CRICKET SCORE Pakistan A 192/ 12 in 87 overs | All Out Pakistan score a total of 192 for 12 at the end of day’s play. Adnan Akmal made the highest score for Pakistan. For England Steven Finn was the star bowler picking 4 with Adil Rashid also taking 3 wickets.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE Pakistan A 106 /6 in 53 overs Batting:  Pakistan A got past 100 runs at the loss of 6 wickets, after Steven Finn wrecked havoc on them early morning and post lunch taking four wickets. Rashid and Ali picked one one wicket each. Sami Alsam was the top scorer for Pakistan A missing out on a half century.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE Pakistan A 76/6 in 40 overs: Sami Alsam the only Pakistan batsman who was giving a fight to England’s bowling just got out on the brink of a well deserved half century. Adil Rashid picked up Aslam’s wicket by getting him caught in the slips by Ben Strokes. Umar Amin and Adnan Akmal are on the crease for Pakistan A.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE Pakistan A 47/5 in 30.3 overs:  England after lunch come out with more grit and fire as Steven Finn grabbed  two wickets of Usman Salahuddin and Iftikar Ahmed in the second over after lunch. Pakistan are now in a spot of bother at  47/5. Sami Alsam is still at crease playing on 35.

Pakistan at the half way mark was left at 23/ 3 after Steven Finn and Moeen Ali picked up quick wicket for England. Sami Aslam is batting on 28 while Iftikar Ahmed is on 10.

England and Pakistan A had earlier played out a draw in their first tour match. Since it was a short two-day match, both the teams got one innings each to bat and assess their present situation. England captain Alastair Cook, his deputy Joe Root, all-rounder Adil Rashid and Jonny Bairstow struck form as they slammed half-centuries to help their side reach a respectable score of 286 in their first innings. When Pakistan A came out to bat, England’s Moeen Ali — who has been promoted to the role of an opener in this tour — showed his all-round skills as he hung around for long enough to give the selectors hopes that he can do well at that spot. When it was his turn to bowl, Moeen chipped in with three wickets to show that he would be a vital cog for England on this tour.
