Catch Live Scorecard of the second T20I between Pakistan and New Zealand here

(Will New Zealand manage to bounce back or equalise the series or Pakistan will continue with their winning? Catch live cricket scores of the second T20I here)

New Zealand have won this match by 17 runs! The 18th over goes for 15 runs but Afridi falls in the last ball. He is caught behind, and is not pleased with the decision. Could have been a special match-winning knock. Alas! Gul tries to hit a six, but finds the fielder.
OUT! Afridi c Ronchi b Neesham 28 (11)/ OUT! Umar Gul c Ross Taylor b Mills 0 (2)/OUT! Tanvir c Devcich b Mills 11 (6)

Bowled ‘ím! Umar Akmal is dismissed by James Neesham. Anwar Ali is out too. Great catch by Williamson. Shahid Afridi seems to be in great touch though! 39 needed from the last three.
OUT! U Akmal b Neesham 10(14) / Anwar Ali c Williamson b Mills 2(4)

Oh dear! Ahmed Shehzad is bowled by Daniel Vettori. All over for Pakistan? Not until Afridi is there. He hits 2 sixes! Game on!
OUT! Ahmed Shehzad b Vettori 33 (36)

Gone! Saad Nasim departs after scoring 19. Umar Akmal walks in. Required run rate around 10 per over now. 79 from 48 balls. These two batsman have plenty of talent to finish it, but NZ can put pressure with wickets. This looks like one that will go down to the wire.
OUT! Saad Nasim c Brownlie b Neesham 19 (21)

This is turning out to be a steady partnership for Pakistan, but this is still anybody’s game. New Zealand have done well to defend a total of 144 with some fight.

Saad Nasim hits Kyle Mills for a big six over the long-on in the last over of the powerplay, It was a full delivery, Nasim shimmied down the track and belted it long.
Matt Henry gets his first wicket here. His first T20I wicket. Sohail tried to hoick it away big on the on-side but found Tom Latham on the deep square-leg boundary.
OUT!!!Haris Sohail c Latham b Matt Henry 3(9)
Devcich is given a task to bowl the third over of the innings and he strikes again. This time it’s the big wicket of Mohammad Hafeez. It was a decent delivery darted on good length outside off which was gently pushed by Hafeez and Devcich took a good low catch. Hafeez is dissapointed as he walks back to the pavilion.
OUT!!! Mohammad Hafeez c and b Devcich 9(8
The hero of the last match, Sarfraz Ahmed has been dismissed leg-before by Anton Devcich only in the first over. The TV replays show that the ball was just striding down the leg-side. Unlucky for Sarfraz to depart early. New Zealand will be pleased with this start. Mohammad Hafeez comes to crease only in the first over. Hafeez hits Matt Henry for two consecutive boundaries in the second over. That’s the third boundary but it goes from Hafeez’s pads. 12 runs from this one.
OUT!!! Sarfraz Ahmed lbw b Devcich 1(3)
Losing two wickets in the final overs, New Zealand have still done well to reach close to 150. So, Pakistan need 145 runs to win this series 2-0. Not a big ask, New Zealand bowlers need to bowl well to restrict Pakistan.
OUT!!! Daniel Vettori b Umar Gul 0(3) and Nathan McCullum run out (Ahmed Shehzad/Sarfraz Ahmed) 4(3)
So, both Ronchi and Tom Latham have been sent back to the pavilion. Daniel Vettori and James Neesham have a duty to do here. They need to push the New Zealand total to atleast 150.
OUT!!Tom Latham c Anwar Ali b Umar Gul 26(22) and Ronchi c Ahmed Shehzad b Tanvir 31(19)

New Zealand 113/4 | Overs 16
Luke Ronchi 18 (10), Tom Latham 26 (20)

Tom Latham and Luke Ronchi have a role to play here. Can they lift New Zealand to anywhere near 150? Ronchi stays in his crease and hits Afridi over long-off for a six. Another one for Ronchi ! This one is 91 m and over the long-on. Good over for New Zealand. Two sixes hit by Ronchi.

Raza Hasan has got his first wicket and Ross Taylor goes back to pavilion after scoring only seven runs. It was a bit full and Taylor tried to sweep it and it hit him right in front. New Zealand are losing the plot here. It started with the wicket of Devcich and they are already four wickets down.
OUT!!!!Ross Taylor lbw b Raza Hasan 7(13)
Dean Brownlie is removed by Shahid Afridi. It was a fuller delivery which just appeared going down the leg-side but umpire was quick to raise his finger. Unlucky for Brownlie to depart for nought. Now, Sarfraz has put down a chance, he has dropped the new man Ross Taylor. Oh no! Afridi has cleaned up Williamson. Three wickets down in no time.
Dean Brownlie lbw b Afridi 0(2) and Kane Williamson b Afridi 32(31)
Pakistan have got the first wicket here. Anton Devcich who is dismissed my Mohammad Hafeez. It was a flatter delivery pitched on the middle stump and Devcich tried to cut it but eventually failed to connect.
OUT!!!! Anton Devcich Devcich b Hafeez 21(20)
After first two quiet overs which only went for three runs, New Zealand have got the desired pace and reached to 24 after the end of four overs. Kane Williamson who was dismissed early in the last match has got a start this time.

Pakistan XI: S Ahmed, A Shehzad, M Hafeez, U Akmal, H Sohail, S Afridi, S Nasim, Anwar Ali, Sohail Tanvir, R Hasan, U Gul

New Zealand XI: K Williamson, A Devcich, D Brownlie, R Taylor, T Latham, L Ronchi, J Neesham, N McCullum, D Vettori, K Mills, M Henry.

Pakistan have won the toss and will field first.

Pakistan and New Zealand will slug it out in the second of the Twenty20 Internationals (T20I) in Dubai. Pakistan registered a comprehensive win over the visitors in the first game. The nature of T20I and back to back matches wont allow either team to sit on the result too long. New Zealand were put into bat last time around and had a poor start to their batting as three batsmen were dismissed in a matter of just three overs. Corey Anderson and Martin Guptill did well to revive the things for New Zealand before they just settled for a below-par score.

Pakistan may draft in Umar Gul or Wahab Riaz as the trend with them has been to chop and change the bowling unit, in order to have everybody fit and match ready. Sarfraz Ahmed was brilliant last time around as he remained unbeaten on 76 and took Pakistan to victory.

Pakistan: Anwar Ali, Mohammad Hafeez, Awais Zia, Sohail Tanvir, Umar Akmal, Ahmed Shehzad, Haris Sohail, Raza Hasan, Saad Nasim, Sarfraz Ahmed (wk) and Shahid Afridi (c).

New Zealand: Adam Milne, Luke Ronchi (wk), Martin Guptill, Kane Williamson (c), Ross Taylor, James Neesham, Nathan McCullum, Mitchell McClenaghan, Matt Henry, Anton Devcich and Corey Anderson.
