GONE, BUT WI WIN!!!! Evin Lewis depart fro 91, as Shadab Khan makes him caught by Wahab Riaz; but it’s too late as the very next ball is smashed down the ground for four by Lendl Simmons, and West Indies win the contest convincingly by 7 wickets. PAK still lead the series 2-1.

  • 12:54 AM IST

Evin Lewis has turned the game upside down as West Indies are just 11 runs short of the win. Great comeback by the Windies in the 3rd T20I.

  • 12:42 AM IST

FIFTY!!!! Evin Lewis has one past his half-century, his maiden in T20I, as he looks to steer the Windies home, while Jason Mohammed is supporting him at the other end.

  • 12:26 AM IST

GONE!!!! Its the veteran Marlon Samuels who falls for mere 18 to Wahab Riaz after being caught by Imad Wasim. Samuels was looking desperate to go for the big shots, and the frustration crept in, as he gave away his wickets. Windies lose their second wickets, as debutant Jason Mohammed makes his way in. WI 58/2

  • 12:18 AM IST

50-runs stand up between Lewis and Samuels, as they are just taking apart the PAK bowlers, while Lewis is the man smashing them all over the park. PAK need to come up with something big here.

  • 12:12 AM IST

Well, not exactly a good start for the Pakistan bowlers, barring the inital wicket of Walton, as Evin Lewis and Marlon Samuels are going at the PAK bowlers to make sure that they don’t leave in stones unturned in pursuit to win this tie. Match on!

  • 11:58 PM IST

GONE!!!! Poor start by the Windies as well, as they lose Chadwick Walton for a mere single after being caught by Fakhar Zaman off Sohail Tanvir, while veteran Marlon smauels is the new man in. Do they stand any chance to win this tie? WI 2/1 in the second over itself.

  • 11:38 PM IST

That is the end of the Pakistan innings. Pakistan have been halted at 137 for 8 in the 20 overs. Excellent bowling from the hosts, as they came back strong in the second half of the game stopping the Men in Green from reaching 160+ total which looked very much on the cards.

  • 11:21 PM IST

OUT! This is like the comedy of errors. Sarfraz Khan is run-out. Fakhar Zaman flings his bat at a full delivery from Holder but manages to bottom edge the ball. Keeper Chadwick collects the ball and throws it to Holder who dislodges the bells well in time. Sarfraz was not even in picture when the bells were removed. The ball was in Holder’s hands when he dislodged the bells. But the bowler thought that he had lost the ball well before and so he didn’t even appeal. But it was West Indies skipper Brathwaite who was standing behind Holder who appealed

  • 11:13 PM IST

Bowled’em! Needless improvisation says, Ramiz Raza as Babar Azam walks back after getting cleaned up by Sunil Narine. Babar tries a premeditated scoop but is defeated in a quick off-break from Narine. Frustrated looks from Babar as he walks back!

  • 11:03 PM IST

OUT! Shoaib Malik is walking back. Carlos Brathwaite takes the vital wicket of in-form Malik. Excellent bowling from the West Indies skipper. He bowls it down the leg side generating enough pace. Malik tried working it down for a single but manages to hit the ball in the air and Evin Lewis takes a good catch at deep backward square!

WHAT HAVE I DONE – This is Kamran Akmal’s reaction. Marlon Samuels bowls a JUICY full-toss to Kamran which the batsman could have hit anywhere in the park, but instead, he chooses Lendl Simmons at the boundary rope at deep-midwicket!

  • 10:49 PM IST

Here are the magician Shadab Khan’s all 7 wickets from the series so far!

  • 10:43 PM IST

Despite the two early wickets, Pakistan have put on a good score of 76 in the first 10 overs. Kamran Akmal and Baba Azam have shown good display of counter-attack. Both have batted with a particular pattern – One of them hits a big shot and then they continue to take singles rest of the over till another bad delivery is bowled. Kamran has actually looked in extravagant touch today. As the overs are passing by, he is looking more dangerous and has gone after every West Indies bowler!

  • 10:35 PM IST

50 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket off just 42 deliveries between Kamran Akmal and Babar Azam!

  • 10:24 PM IST

Pakistan brought in Imad Wasim early on and that change failed miserably. But since then Babar Azam and Kamran Akmal have played some cracking shots down the ground to get Pakistan back on track. Good counter-attacking cricket from these two batsmen. Pakistan needs more from these two!

  • 10:05 PM IST

OUT! Badree has got 2 wickets in the first over.Imad Wasim was promoted up the order. Badree tosses it up and full with a lot of flight on offer. He draws Imad forward and the ball spins into the batsman. Imad misses the ball and Chadwick Walton collects the ball and removes the bells just in time.

  • 10:01 PM IST

What a game this is! Ahmed Shehzad has been cleaned bowled on the second delivery by Samuel Badree. An off-break from Badree and Shehzad looking to charge dances down the track but the ball skids after pitching and hits the top of middle and off. Embarrassing dismissal for Shehzad. GAME ON!

I am Ayush Gupta, and I will be bringing to you all the live updates from this tie. Pakistan have been exceptional following their twin successive wins ion the opening two ties, having put themselves in the driver’s seat. They would be aiming for a win here to seal the series. Meanwhile, West Indies continue the woeful form and would be aiming to strike the next two games, starting with this tie to square the series. The hosts are most likely to get some changes in the side. Although Holder was not impressive with the ball and was the most expensive one as well, he had a good run with the bat in the match, which makes his retention in the team a certainty. However, players like Lendl Simmons, Kieron Pollard and Rovman Powell could face axe for their unimpressive performance in the second T20I and could well be replaced by Jonathan Carter, Andre Fletcher and Jason Mohammed. As for the visitors, Pakistan are most likely to retain their playing XI, following their impressive twin wins so far. However, a couple of changes can’t be ruled out either, considering they would like to test their bench strength. Ahmed Shehzad, who had an injury scare in the second T20I, could missout the match and would probably be replaced by Mohammad Hafeez. Shadab Khan’s 4-for helps visitors clinch a last ball thriller
