After two eventful days of cricket, Punjab are ahead in the match. Punjab batted first, and were bowled out for 272. The big guns Manan Vohra, Jiwanjot Singh, Uday Kaul, Yuvraj Singh, and Mandeep Singh all failed but Mayank Siddana scored 85 and Gitansh Khera made 74. Praveen Kumar was the star for Uttar Pradesh with 4 for 81, while Ankit Rajpoot took 3 for 60, Akshdeep Nath took 2 for 7, and Imtiaz Ahemed finished with 1 for 73.

Akshdeep Nath then scored 35 with Eklavya Dwivedi scoring 27 and Piyush Chawla contributing with 34. Saurabh Kumar and Imtiaz Ahmed are the unbeaten batsmen, batting on 5 and 2 respectively. Punjab skipper Harbhajan Singh has taken 3 for 31 in 8 overs, while Deepak Bansal has 2 for 22 and Siddharth Kaul has taken 2 for 71. Barinder Singh Saran has taken 1 for 58.
