LIVE CRICKET SCORE: Saurashtra 48/1 in Overs 20; BATTING: Sagar Jogiyani 13(54), Cheteshwar Pujara 29(44): Pujara is gathering runs at a rapid pace, while Jogiyani is playing an ideal supporting role at the other end, stonewalling along. Pujara has hit six boundaries in the innings so far, and Saurashtra will hope to finish on a score within the proximity of 100 at the end of the day without losing any further wickets, something that they can achieve if they continue on their current path.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE: Saurashtra 29/1 in Overs 13; BATTING: Sagar Jogiyani 10(40), Cheteshwar Pujara 13(16): Saurashtra are off to a shaky start in their first innings after producing a terrific performance with the ball to dismiss Vidarbha for 151. Avi Barot is dismissed for 5 off 22 balls, with Umesh Yadav striking early in the innings. While Cheteshwar Pujara has started his innings off with three quick boundaries, Jogiyani is batting patiently on 10 off 40 balls at the end of the 13th over. OUT! LIVE CRICKET SCORE: Vidarbha 151 in Overs 50.4; BATTING: Ravikumar Thakur 4(11): Vidarbha have suffered a devastating collapse in the last few overs, from 105 for five to 130 for nine. The collapse begins with the dismissal of veteran batsman Wasim Jaffer, who falls nine runs short of his half-century after facing 86 deliveries, getting caught by Makwana off the bowling of Deepak Punia. Unadkat gets his fourth wicket of the innings after bowling Wakhare for 2. Umesh Yadav is the last man dismissed, departing for 25 off just 16 balls, with Jaydev UNadkat finishing with a fifer! OUT! While Jaffer has quickly moved on to 14 off 16 balls with the help of three boundaries, Badrinath is batting with a strike rate of a little over 20 at the moment, with his two boundaries at the end of the 14th over off Unadkat fetching his only runs of the innings.

Toss: Saurashtra won the toss and chose to field.

Vidarbha’s Akshay Wakhare holds the second spot of the most wickets of this edition so far in the tournament. He has bagged 49 wickets from eight matches played in the group stage. Vidarbha’s further road in the tournament will mostly revolve around Wakhare and his performance with the ball. He has a great opportunity to finish as the leading wicket-taker because Kerala’s KS Monish who finished on the top of the most wickets table for a better average will not compete in the knockout stages. Kerala failed to progress despite Monish’s excellent spells. Meanwhile, they will want their most consistent batsman Faiz Fazal to continue scoring runs on consistent basis.

On the other hand, Saurashtra’s opening batsman Avi Barot will lead their batting line-up and in the absence of Ravindra Jadeja , the likes of Kamlesh Makwana and the other Jadeja will have to step in to keep the opponents’ batmen under control.

Squads:

Vidarbha: Faiz Fazal, Shalabh Shrivastava, Shrikant Wagh, Akshay Wakhare, Aditya Sarvate, Amol Ubarhande (wk), Subramaniam Badrinath (c), Ganesh Satish, Ravi Jangid, Ravikumar Thakur, Wasim Jaffer
