Himachal Pradesh, who finished the group stage as the table topper in Group D, had 16 points from five, games, along with four wins and a loss, while Punjab, on the other hand, finished Group A being on the second spot, with 20 points from six games along with five wins and a loss, as both the teams aim for a semi-final spot. Afetr Siddharth Kaul’s two wickets, Punjab have failed to make any breakthrough. However, Himachal have not managed to go at a rate above 4. The Punjab bowlers have done a good job economiclaly.

Meanwhile, Himachal’s Rishi Dhawan and Pankaj Jaiswal shared six wickets between each other with three wickets each to both of them.

Live Cricket Score: Punjab 227/5 | Overs 46 | BATSMEN: Mandeep Singh 109(136), Gitansh Khera 23(19): Mandeep Singh still on crease, with no signs of any struggle. With this innings, he has replaced Tamil Nadu’s Baba Aparajith as the top-scorer of the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy.

They have to remove Mandeep if they want to deny Punjab a big score. Or at leats keep getting wickets from the other end. Siddana seems to have settled soon, he has been giving the required support to Madeep from the other end, which is good news for Punjab.
