Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s live coverage of Mumbai and Services, Group A match of the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2015-16 at Hyderabad. Services having won two games from the tow matches they have played so far in the tournament are the table toppers, while Mumbai with two victories from three matches stand just below Services on the second spot. Mumbai played Assam in their previous fixture at Secunderabad. LIVE CRICKET SCORE: Services 78/2 | Overs 21 | BATTING: Nakul Verma 28(55), Rajat Paliwal 41(43): Rajat Paliwal has done extremely well so far and has built an excellent stand along with Nakul Verma. They have put on an excellent partnership after losing two early wickets. They will look to keep the bowlers at bay for a few more overs.

The latter scored 6 from 17 balls before giving an easy catch to Mumbai skipper Aditya Tare on very first delivery of the 6th over. That wicket was followed by the dismissal of the one0down batsman Mumtaz Qadir. The second wicket fell in a span of nearly two overs. It was Shardul’s second scalp for the match. TOSS UPDATE: Mumbai won the toss, elected to field.

The other fixtures of Mumbai were against Tamil Nadu and Punjab. While Mumbai beat the latter, they faced a 26-run defeat against Tamil Nadu. At present, Mumbai opener Akhil Herwadkar is the top-scorer for them with 139 runs and his three innings include a century which he had scored against Tamil Nadu. However, the ton was not enough for helping Mumbai win that match.

On the other hand, Services played their two matches against Rajasthan and Hyderabad respectively. They played their opening fixture against Rajasthan and batting first, they posted a first innings total of 230 runs. In reply to that, Rajasthan were bowled out for 167 runs in 41.3 overs. Puneet Yadav had top-scored for Rajasthan in that game with his 52 runs in 48 balls. Services’ second game was against Hyderabad which they had won by 5 wickets with 7 balls to spare.
