LIVE CRICKET SCORE AND UPDATES: SA 140/0 in 25 Ovs. BATTING: Hashim Amla 91 (77), Quinton de Kock 49 (73)  With Faf du Plessis, AB de Villiers set to come, time is right for de Kock to put the shift to next gear. With the wicket on slow side, runs are tough to come by. Strange to see Amla playing over a strike rate of 100 and de Kock going around a strike rate of 50. It generally is other way around. Brilliant 7th over for the visitors, as Amla manages to score 13 runs of Jerome Taylor.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE AND UPDATES: SA 23/0 in 5 Ovs. BATTING: Hashim Amla 12 (11), Quinton de Kock 11 (19) Steady start by the South Africans, as the openers make sure that they are off to a solid start and also watch out from suffering any opening setbacks as they definitely do not want the hosts to have any edge in the game as of now. However, there has been some reasonable bowling form the Windies bowlers so far, with the loose deliveries obviously being played for boundaries.

South Africa (Playing XI): Quinton de Kock (wk), Hashim Amla, Faf du Plessis, AB de Villiers (c), Jean-Paul Duminy, Farhaan Behardien, Chris Morris, Wayne Parnell, Kagiso Rabada, Imran Tahir, Tabraiz Shamsi.

TOSS: West Indies (Field)

South Africa have been ordinary so far in this series. Their decent bowling show has been overshadowed by their batting misery. In their first match, they were bowled out for a mere 188. Their only win over Australia also saw them scoring 189, before their bowlers stood up to the task. With score in excess of 200 in a solitary game — fourth ODI — their batting has flattered to deceive. In terms of positives, Imran Tahir has been really impressive, scalping 2 wickets in each of the three matches. And with the bat, Hashim Amla has been the standout with 115 runs. Tri-Nation series 2016, 6th ODI, WI vs SA: Preview and Predictions

The hosts on the other hand have somewhat surprisingly been excellent. Despite the likes Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Andre Russell and Darren Sammy missing out, other players have stepped up to the task. With two wins in three games, the confidence is definitely on their side. Their only loss against Australia in the second ODI was due to a batting collapse, but they fixed the issue in the reverse fixture, chasing down 266 very comfortably. The are buoyed by the return of Narine’s form. The spinner has already scalped 8 wickets.
