Nepal-vs-HK

Hello and welcome to the live updates of ICC World Cricket League Championship. Nepal and Hong Kong play the second and final match of the two one-day series. We, at CricketCountry, will bring all the live updates as well as interesting posts from the social media space. Nepal suffered a harrowing loss in the first match and now have no scope of making it to the ICC World Cup 2019 Qualifying rounds. Hong Kong, on the other hand, have moved to top No. 4 in the table. They now have 6 wins from 11 matches, having lost 4.

Nepal are placed at No. 6 with 7 losses and 4 wins. Nepal lost the first game of the series by 84 runs. It was Aizaz Khan and Ehsan Khan who rocked Nepalese batsmen with their bowling; even their star player Paras Khadka could not save Nepal from the defeat.

For Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane and Basant Regmi starred with the ball. Hong Kong batsmen in particular were unable to tackle Lamichhane’s leg-break bowling. A win here would push Hong Kong to No. 2 in the ICC World Cricket League Championship (WCLC) standing. Nepal would want to come back harder and notch up a much needed win to have a better standing to show.
