Sylhet Super Stars in their last match defeated the heavy-weights Barisal Bulls by 9 wickets. The Bulls had put up a very low score of 58 as only two players reached the double-digit runs. Ravi Bopara excelled with the ball picking up 3 wickets for 12 runs and made the chase easy for their batsmen. Though the Bulls sent opener Dilshan Munaweera for a five ball duck, Junaid Siddique and Nurul Hasan easily picked up the winning runs.

The Rangpur Riders are also coming from a victory as they won over the Dhaka Dynamites by 6 wickets. The Dynamites batsmen posted a score of 135 with the loss of 7 wickets. Chasing the run, Jahurul Islam was the most impactful of all the Riders batsmen as he scored a 26 ball 35 and remained unbeaten to see his side pick up the victory.
