The Celibrity Cricket League (CCL) started on January 10 at the Brabourne Stadium where Mumbai Heroes took on Veer Marathi, and the former snatched victory in the very last over of the match. On the other hand, Chennai Rhinos first match was against Kerala Strikers, which they won comfortably at Hyderabad. Their second game was against Veer Marathi in Bangalore. Chennai, once again, won the match comfortably, defeating Veer Marathi by nine wickets.
Both the teams have won their respective matches till now. The match is being held at Ahmedabad.
CCl is a non-professional league, which is contested between eight team consisting of prominent film personalities from the regional film industry. Having started in 2011, it has attracted a large number of viewership.
