Manan Vohra was dismissed for 27 from 19 balls off the bowling of Ravi Rampaul after he skied a short-pitched delivery which was caught by Jonathan Carter in the mid-wicket to leave Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at 41 for the loss of one wicket in the fifth match of the ongoing Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) 2014 series.
Barbados Tridents posted 174 for the loss of six wickets against KXIP. Dilshan Munaweera scored a quickfire 50 off 26 balls to propel the visitors off to a spanking start. KXIP managed to stop the flow of runs in the middle overs courtesy regular wickets by Parvinder Awana and Thisara Perera before Raymon Reifer smashed 60 off 42 balls to guide them to the challenging total.
