Karnataka made up for their poor show with the bat in the first innings with an inspired bowling performance, with every bowler doing a good job. Vinay Kumar has been instrumental in leading Karnataka as they have done well over the last couple of seasons. Abhimanyu Mithun started the second innings off well as he struck thrice in three overs to put ROI in a spot of bother.
