Sarfaraz Ahmed (2/2): Started with Shadab today, because we know they’re not good batsmen against spin – Roy and Bairstow. Fielding a very important part. The last ODI series, fielding made the difference. Confidence booster for the future. Hopefully we’ll play better cricket from here. Not easy to come back from 11 losses in a row.
Sarfaraz Ahmed (1/2): It’s a great team effort. Credit to batsmen for taking us to 350. Then bowlers bowled really well today. Game starts at 10.30, so the first 10 overs are very important. If you lose early wickets, you can’t this sort of a total. Fakhar and Imam did a really good job.

Eoin Morgan (2/2): Thought we were outfielded today. Probably the difference between the sides. It was way below par today. Probably cost us 15-20 runs. They bowled well. We got a considerable partnership to stay in the game. All round today we weren’t that bad. Pakistan played well. Sides will beat each other. Don’t think many sides will go unbeaten. Going to be a competitive tournament. Looking forward to Bangladesh.
Eoin Morgan (1/2): Very good game of cricket. Great advert for the tournament. Extremely disappointed to be at the wrong end especially when it got so tight. TB is a high-scoring ground. Wasn’t concerned with 350. Wicket was very good, outfield was rapid. We felt if we got going, 350 was achievable. Losing early wickets isn’t ideal. Joe and Jos kept us in it as far as the 40th over.
Mohammad Hafeez (3/3): Whenever we come to UK, we have good support from the crowd. We know we have to play well because it’s like a second home to us, and I’d like to thank the crowd for their support. We are playing well before, but we were not winning, and this win will definitely give us a lot of confidence. It will be a really happy dressing room and I hope it remains the same way throughout.
Mohammad Hafeez (2/3): Bowlers did a great job defending the score. Batsmen did a great job setting a great total. The first game didn’t go well, but we showed our capability today. I was trying to play my natural shots, and the first ball I came down and hit the boundary – so I thought why not take this approach straightaway?
Mohammad Hafeez (1/3): Everyone believed we can win the game. We were playing good cricket before but we weren’t winning the crucial stages. Today, everyone really chipped in, and gave everything required in the situation. We were very confident. We practised well yesterday, had a good meeting, and we needed one winning performance to start us off.
IT’S OVER! Pakistan beat England by 14 runs. The losing streak is over for the Pakistan side. Hafeez, Babar, Sarfaraz and Wahab have played a big role in this win.

WICKET! Big wicket at a crucial juncture! Shadab Khan strikes for the second time in this game. Root tries to cut one past the short third-man but the quicker ball does him in. He departs after scoring 107.
FOUR! Short from Wahab Riaz and Root stands tall to cut one through the point.
HUNDRED! Joe Root brings up his 15th ODI hundred. A much needed hundred for the team. Hundred in 97 balls.

Live Cricket Score ENG vs PAK Match 6
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Match 6 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be played between Pakistan and England at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on Monday. After being blasted apart by West Indies in their opening game, Pakistan will look to make amends, especially in their batting, and aim for a comeback when they take on hot-favourites England in their second World Cup fixture at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on Monday.
Playing against Windies, Pakistan was not just able to deal with the short balls, with Andre Russell and Oshane Thomas both having them hopping around, but they managed to score only 103 runs and seemed to be in all sorts of trouble. None of their batsmen showed temperament and the ability to handle the short-pitch deliveries, and even rash shots by some of their batsmen didn’t help Pakistan’s cause. There is good chance that a number of short balls at very decent pace will be heading their way as England have the likes of Mark Wood, Jofra Archer and Liam Plunkett in their pace battery.CLICK HERE FOR CRICKETCOUNTRY.COM WORLD CUP FULL COVERAGE
