The sight of a batsman running back to the pavilion being forced to answer the nature’s call can look hilarious and be a butt of several jokes. However, we have all been in situations where the external (or should we say internal?) force got the better of us. Poor Matthew Renshaw, playing his first Test in India, had defied the troika of Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Jayant Yadav before eventually giving in to the nature’s call. Renshaw had walked out, or rather, ran back to the pavilion for 36 during the first Test between India and Australia at Pune.
