Mohammad Hafeez, Azhar Ali complete 50-run opening stand in 3rd ODI at Lahore

The pair have got Pakistan off to an ideal start.

Mohammad Hafeez and Azhar Ali completed the 50-run opening stand during the third One-Day International against Zimbabwe at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Sunday. Pakistan earlier won the toss, and elected to bat. The home team opted for two changes, bringing in debutant Babar Azam and Junaid Khan in place of Haris Sohail and Mohammad Sami. Zimbabwe too, made two changes to their lineup — allowing Roy Kaia to make his debut along with Christopher Mpofu in place of Tawanda Mupariwa and Brian Vitori. Pakistan are currently leading the three-match ODI series 2-0, winning the second match by six-wickets. Skipper Azhar Ali starred in the match with a knock of 102 off 104 balls. He was supported by Asad Shafiq (39), Haris Sohail (52 not out) and Shoaib Malik (36 not out).
