Karachi: Former Pakistan skipper Rameez Raja has lavished praise on batting all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez for his brilliant batting performance in the ongoing ODI series against Sri Lanka. Rameez said that Hafeez has been playing like a ‘champion’ and seems to be well aware of his responsibilities, the Dawn reported. Pakistan clinched their first series win in the Island nation since 2006 after thrashing lacklustre Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the fourth ODI. Hafeez, who plays effectively well against the spinners, has amassed 236 runs in the first four games of the ODI series at an average of 59. He also took six wickets before he was handed a one-year ban from bowling by the ICC.
