Mohammed Kaif Relives India vs Pakistan 2003 WC Match With Son During COVID-19 Lockdown | WATCH VIDEO

Kaif's son felt it was easy to hit Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar because he has pace and that can be used.

Amid the 21-day lockdown in India due to the coronavirus outbreak, former cricketer Mohammed Kaif and his son Kabir on Tuesday watched the epic India-Pakistan 2003 World Cup encounter at Centurion together on Star Sports.

Kaif played an important role in the famous six-wicket victory as he scored 35 off 60 balls and stitched a crucial partnership with Sachin Tendulkar to get India’s chase on track after they lost two quick wickets of Virender Sehwag (21) and Sourav Ganguly (0) to Waqar Younis.

Kaif’s son felt it was easy to hit Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar because he has pace and that can be used.

“Thanks to @StarSportsIndia, finally Kabir gets to relive that historic #INDvPAK game. But junior isn’t too impressed with Papa, says hitting @shoaib100mph must be easy since there is pace in his bowling. Kids today I tell you…phew!” Kaif wrote on Twitter with a clip of his son’s explanation.

India won that match and had a dream run under the leadership of Sourav Ganguly as they made it to the final. The Ganguly-led team lost to Australia in the summit clash.

Meanwhile, most cricketers are taking to social media to interact with fans while staying indoors during the lockdown.
