In the crucial game No 27 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 played between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai, Bangalore won the toss and elected to field. Mumbai suffered a big blow when Zaheer Khan, the experienced left-arm seamer was ruled out due to shoulder injury.  The track is expected to be flat and should favour the batsmen throughout the game.

Ben Duck, the Australian left-handed batsman and Chidhambaram Gautam opened the batting for Mumbai. For Bangalore, Mitchell Starc found a bit of movement in the air and also generated a bit of bounce from a good length. He also bowled at good pace for Bangalore setup. It was Guatam who opened the boundary count for Mumbai with a boundary down the ground off Starc’s bowling. Dunk followed it by playing shots against the error prone, Ashok Dinda. It has been a fine start by Mumbai setup during the first three overs of the game.
