Mumbai secured a comfortable six-wicket victory against Delhi in the Vijay Hazare Trophy pre quarter-final match at Rajkot. Delhi surrendered meekly and were able to post a target of just 158, which Mumbai reached with six wickets and 19.3 overs to spare.

Wasim Jaffer was unbeaten on 83 and was the star of the match for Mumbai. In the bowling department, Shardul Thakur snared three wickets for just 25 runs. For Delhi, Milind Kumar was the only batsman to put up some resistance as he scored 64. He didn’t find much support at the other end, and as many as five Delhi batsman were dismissed for single digit scores.
