Mushfiqur Rahim take five catches against India at Mirpur, becomes first Bangladeshi to do so

The five catches Mushfiqur pouched were the most by a Bangladeshi in ODIs. Before today, Bangladeshis had taken four catches in a match four times. Mushfiqur was the gloveman in three of those occasions, while Dhiman Ghosh had done it once. Soumya Sarkar had also taken four catches in a match, but as a specialist fielder. The five dismissals of Mushfiqur was also a joint Bangladeshi record. He emulated Khaled Mashud, who had three catches and two stumpings against Kenya at Nairobi in 2006.
