In the crucial Group 1 encounter of ICC World T20 2014 played between Netherlands, the Dutch side kept themselves in the game by taking the wicket of Ross Taylor. New Zealand’s key player Taylor was caught superbly by Wesley Barresi with the impressive Timm Van Gugten taking his wicket.

New Zealand need someone to play a substantial innings. It is up to Brendon McCullum who completed the milestone of 2,000 runs in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) to do that. He though, seems to be struggling with back spasms.

Earlier, New Zealand recovered after losing the wicket of Martin Guptill. It was Kane Williamson who played a few cheeky shots around the corner to keep the scorecard ticking. He finally got out to Logan Van Beek’s bowling. It was a tame dismissal, as he just guided it to the wicketkeeper. On the other hand, Brendon McCullum took his time to find his timing going.
