In the crucial Group 1 encounter of ICC World T20 2014 played between Netherlands and New Zealand at Chittagong, Netherlands made a smart recovery after losing their way in the middle overs of the match. However, New Zealand  at the right time took the vital wicket of Michael Swat to tighten their grip on Netherlands. He was stumped by Luke Ronchi off Nathan McCullum’s bowling. Pettern Borren tried to up the ante by dancing down the wicket to smash McCullum for a six.

Earlier, Stephan Myburgh played some fine shots against Trent Boult, before he got out to the same bowler. He had played a fine square-cut followed by a hoick over mid-wicket for a six.

Once he was out, Wesley Barresi too lost his wicket to Mitchell McClenaghan’s bowling. Netherlands’ tendency to either slog or just defend isn’t helping them. They need to rotate the strike. On the other hand, New Zealand pacers after pitching it short corrected their length and reaped the rewards for it.
