Martin Guptill reaches his 21st One-Day International (ODI) half-century against Pakistan at Napier. Guptill opened the innings with skipper Brendon McCullum, who made a quick fire 31 before he was bowled by Shahid Afridi. Guptill and Kane WIlliamson have added over 50 runs for the second wicket and have put New Zealand in a commanding position.

Guptill has been in good form this season and his form is going to be crucial ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. He along with McCullum have gotten the Kiwis off to a great start time and again. They again managed to get their side off to a wonderful start but McCullum is pursuit of some quick runs perished to an Afridi delivery.

Earlier New Zealand had won the toss and elected to bat first. New Zealand got back Williamson, Tim Southee and Daniel Vettori back in the their side and Pakistan have changed an unchanged side from the first ODI at Wellington. This is the last match either team will play ahead of ICC World Cup 2015, which starts on February 14.
