Pakistan went to lunch at 311 for 4 on Day 4 of the 2nd Test against England at Dubai and they now have a massive lead of 447 runs to their name with six wickets to spare. Younis Khan smashed another century and continues to create new records. Younis and Asad Shafiq remained unbeaten on 112 and 47 respectively at lunch and have played  a sensible innings out in the middle. The duo have put up 87 runs stand between and look hungry for more. English bowlers tried their level best but without much of success. Their only moment of glory in the entire session came when James Anderson picked the key wicket of Misbah-ul-Haq at the start of day’s play. Their spinners have let them down on a track which is offering turn.  LIVE CRICKET SCORECARD: Pakistan vs England 2015, 2nd Test at Dubai

Wickets fell like nine pins in the morning session of Day 2 and Day 3 as both the teams were decimated till lunch in their first innings. Anderson drew the first blood for the day when Pakistani skipper once again floundered at the start of day’s play. Anderson bowled an off-cutter which Misbah failed to recognise and ended up giving a simple catch to Alastair Cook at mid-off. He once again walked back to the pavilion without troubling the scorers as he famously did on Day 2 of their first innings. On both occasions Misbah was dominant at stumps on the prevous day but lacked confidence after resuming play on the succeeding day. LIVE CRICKET UPDATES: Pakistan vs England 2015, 2nd Test at Dubai, Day 4

Asad Shafiq walked in to accompany Pakistan’s highest run-scorer in  Tests Younis. There was a bit of movement but the duo stuck to their grounds and confronted the English bowling attack with immense temperament and didn’t throw their wicket away. After they got their eye in, runs started to flow for them. Sarfraz Ahmed will walk in next to bat and Pakistan will at least try to bat for 10 overs or so in the afternoon session. They will now be eyeing to add another 100 runs to their total and set a target of 500 plus for the visitors which will demand a phenomenal performance to achieve it. With in form Wahab Riaz and Yasir Shah in their bowling attack a target this big is always a tough ask. This session will undoubtedly witness some action as Pakistani  batsmen are all set to launch an attack. Paksitani batsmen didn’t let Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali settle down and kept attacking. The spin duel remained wicketless in the entire innings as a lot was dependent on thier shoulders.
